Thistle Seafoods Scholarship

Open to 1st year Scottish fee status undergraduate students studying BA (Hons) Business Management.

Thistle Seafoods Ltd has established a Scholarship for students at Edinburgh Napier University studying BA (Hons) Business Management.

Thistle Seafoods is one of the largest family owned manufacturers of quality seafood products in Europe. Based out of Peterhead in the NE of Scotland and Uddingston to the west of Glasgow the company aim to be regarded as the best innovation-centric food supplier by the world’s most discerning and influential brand owners.

The Thistle Seafoods Scholarship includes a paid placement (likely to be six-months in duration) taking place in Yr 3 and it is important to note that the successful student is expected to take this. With this in mind a shortlist of applicants will be shared with Thistle Seafoods and will be invited for interview with the company.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:

  • Currently matriculated, full year BA (Hons) Business Management student.
  • Scottish Fee Status
  • Studying your first degree.
  • Able to demonstrate financial hardship​ or from a widening participation background.

Please note, due to the availability of funding, only one student can be awarded the Thistle Seafoods Scholarship per year.
