ENU Care Experienced Bursary
UK care experienced students, the term “Care Experienced” refers to anyone who is currently in care or has been for any length of time, regardless of their age. This care can be provided in many different settings, such as:
- Kinship Care – Living with a relative who is not your mum or dad
- Looked After At Home – With the help of social work
- Residential Care – Living in a residential home or school
- Foster Care – Living with foster carers
- Secure Care – Living in a secure accommodation
- Adoption – Living with adoptive parents
All care-experienced students are eligible for this bursary if they:
- Are a currently registered UK student at Edinburgh Napier University, studying up to and including Taught Postgraduate level
- Are a British national and resident in the UK
- Can provide written evidence of having been in the UK care system (the Student Funding team can help you with this – please email studentfunding@napier.ac.uk)
